Who Are We?

Crownhill is a privately held, independent company founded in 1994 by the current Managing Director, Lester Wilson and his wife Beryl. The company was a real, low-capital, startup! Originally working from a spare room, the company sustained year on year growth to break through $1M turnover in 1999.

With its major shareholding still in the hands of the founders, Crownhill is now a successful SME that delivers - both on IT products and services and on empowerment of its employees.

Building on the deep and broad experience of the founder and the loyal employees, Crownhill pioneered in focusing its attention on embedded PIC microcontroller development tools and smart card design in the small and medium enterprise sector, well before both PICMicro®'s and Smart Cards became fashionable.

Our thoroughness and depth in focusing on real customer needs, combined with strong technical abilities and constant people orientation has led to steady growth and success in providing solutions to medium-sized organisations.
